Since 1985, the Office of Physical Education and Recreational Services has been enriching the lives of the campus and Santa Cruz community. Annually, UCSC students, faculty, staff and Santa Cruz community friends make more than 300,000 visits to OPERS to learn to sail and kayak, challenge their limits, and achieve their balance with daily yoga and personal growth classes.
