How to give

In order for your gift to UC Santa Cruz to be considered a 2016 tax-deductible charitable donation, it must be received and/or postmarked before midnight on December 31, 2016.

  2. Print out and complete a gift form (PDF)

Your envelope must be postmarked on or before December 31, 2016.

Stocks and securities

Security transfers can take several days to post. Those wishing to donate stocks and securities should start the process early and work closely with their broker to ensure the gift is received by UC Santa Cruz with enough to time process it for this tax year.
