Ways to Give

Donor Story - Linda Anderson
“You’re married. You don’t need financial support for education.” That’s the fallacy Linda Anderson, UCSC project scientist and donor is working to overcome. See full story

Annual Fund

The Parents Fund

Why do we offer a Parents’ Fund? The quality of a student’s life is considered part of the UCSC educational experience. But, in tough economic times, state support is more often limited to pure academics. With Parents’ Fund support, undergraduate scholarships, campus libraries, student activities, and other student-serving programs of greatest need are bolstered.

Support the Colleges

UC Santa Cruz offers a unique experience to all undergraduate students; whether they live on campus or not, they are affiliated with one of ten residential colleges. Considered a student’s base “living and learning” community within the greater university structure, each residential college provides academic support, organizes student activities, and sponsors events that broaden the intellectual and social life of the campus in addition to housing students in small-scale residential environments. College affiliation is not directly affiliated with a student’s major and provides a broad base of collegial support.

Donating to a specific college will enhance the experience for undergraduate students by supporting:

  • Student activities
  • Writing tutors
  • Guest speakers
  • Special courses and seminars
  • And a wide range of academic resources!

Show your pride! Gifts of $1,000 or more earn a named tile to be placed on a college donor wall in the future. Read more about the College Tiles program.
